Infinix Hot 12i 64GB

It features a 6.6 inches display and Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) chipset with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone also comes with a triple 13 MP + QVGA + QVGA rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for selfies. Infinix Hot 12i runs on Android 11, XOS 7.6, and a 5000 mAh battery powers all this. The phone arrives in Racing Black, Horizon Blue, Haze Green, and Champagne Gold.

Design and Build

For the build quality, the Infinix Hot 12i takes after the Infinix Hot 12 much. It has a plastic rear plastic frame with a flash edge design and glass at the front. No, it doesn’t have an IP rating. But if you happen to drop it inside water for a few seconds, it should survive. As for its external features, this phone has a dual SIM card on a memory tray. At the top there’s nothing, the right side has the volume and power button which is also the fingerprint scanner that unlocks the smartphone instantly.

At the bottom, there’s a 3.5 mm. Audio Jack, a microphone, a USB-type port, and speakers. No, Infinix Hot 12i does not have dual speakers. The other speaker would otherwise be located at the top right where your phone and ear meet while on a phone call. The sound it’s alright. The back of Infinix Hot 12i has three cameras and a flash LED light on the right side of the camera sensors. The front-facing camera also has an LED light which doesn’t come on for notifications.

The display of the Infinix Hot 12i is at 6.6 inches, 104.6 cm2 (~83.1% screen-to-body ratio). It’s an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and it has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. A higher refresh rate would have made for smooth scrolling on this smartphone. The colors look good on this display, and with this smartphone outdoors, it is easier to use because of its smaller display size and a higher 267 PPI density than the Hot 12.

Moving to the cameras of the Infinix Hot 12i, the front-facing camera has an 8 MP sensor. Its photos are okay and portrait shots are decent as well. Moving to the rear cameras, it has a 13 MP, f/1.8, (wide), AF + 2 MP + VGA camera. Photos were taken with the primary camera-looking descent. Portrait shots look amazing with good details. It can shoot up to 2k and 1080p@30fps videos. That selfie camera is inside the dew-drop notch at the top of the display.
